Luxaflex PowerView Motorization now supports Apple HomeKit

In 2016 Luxaflex introduced the electrical control system PowerView Motorisation. The window decoration can be operated with this system via your smartphone or tablet. From now on there is also support for Apple HomeKit, thanks to the latest version of the Luxaflex PowerView Motorisation app.

Since July 10 last year the smart operating system was already operable with your voice. This can be done via Google Home or Amazon Alexa. Since March 1 there is the latest version of the Luxaflex Motorisation app. Together with the Hub Gen 2, PowerView now also supports Apple HomeKit. Previously there was support for the smarthomehub of Homey Fibaro and there was support for IFTTT.

Different ways to operate

Through the app and via your voice you can use the Luxaflex PowerView Motorisation automatically to the desired position. An operating cord is therefore no longer necessary. For parents of small children and people with pets this is a godsend, because it can not be played with the control cord. In addition to the app and your voice, there is also the Pebble remote control. This remote control is available in different colors and can control different windows at the touch of a button.

Last month, Luxaflex introduced the rechargeable battery as a new power source for the control system. The battery is fully charged within three to four hours and involves more than five hundred charging cycles.
